Maths @Newman
I am an a level student who is doing maths at Newman school. I am finding very difficult as all the work that we are doing is very different to what I am used to in GCSE but I am getting very decent grades and I am enjoying doing it. The homework that I am being given is very difficult as I am not getting a lot of help but that is the challenge of Sixth Form.We are encouraged to independently work and solve problems ourselves and I am still managing to get all the work done. I have not missed a single homework task yet.I am enjoying it at Newman and I am looking forward to becoming a maths teacher in a few years.

Life at Newman School
During my time here at Newman I have had many different experiences and learnt a lot of new things. I'm currently in Sixth Form studying my A-Levels for university. My favourite lessons so far are Sociology and History. I still have a lot to learn in order to succeed here, i have one year left until I go to University - I can't wait!

Year 12 ICT
In ICT we got to do a presentation on anything we wanted
when we did the presentations we were being marked upon presentational skills
such as language and confidence. The presentation we did was also peer assessed
this was good because it builds confidence to talk in front of other people and
helps with careers in the future.
